How to Tell Spring Has Sprung At Our House

I've begun implementing some changes in our house -- telltale changes that say "spring:"
  1. I only wear two layers on top now.  My silky long underwear have been put away for the year.
  2. Along with #1, I'm down to wearing only 1 pair of socks at a time.
  3. In the winter, most of school is done on the couch with 3 or so blankets, or the dining room table with a blanket (or two).  Now that it is spring, couch+2 blankets and dining room table + 0 blankets around my shoulders.
  4. In the shower this morning, I didn't crank the hot water as far as it goes!
  5. May 3rd: the flannel sheets will come off our bed.
  6. However, I reserve the right to still wear flannel pajama bottoms.
  7. After a long winter of dump-and-run, we can now spend more than 15 minutes at a time in the basement to clean and reorganize (it is unfinished and chilly down there)

If you are perpetually cold all winter long, what cold-weather habits change as the buds emerge?
