Gratitude Challenge: A Week at a Time, part 1

Brenda, at Garden of Learning (and one of our fearless TOS Review Crew leaders), has put up a challenge to blog about something you are grateful for everyday.

Well, that'd be, like 30 posts, and I just don't have it in me to put up a post a day.  So I'm going to participate, but I'll do it weekly.

November 1:  Electricity.  We lost power for about 36 hours in The Great October Snowstorm on the 30th.

Nov. 2:  My mother-in-law.  She offered to have us come down as soon as she heard we were out of power, and even sounded disappointed that we got our power back (and were going to stay home).

Nov. 3:  My husband's employment.  He's been at his job for over 5 years and the stability has brought much peace to our family.

November 4: My friend.  God's blessed me with friends all over the country -- the world, even -- whom I love dearly and miss much.

November 5: My wonderful husband, who took the boys out for the day with him. He knows just when it would be good to give me some quiet time -- without being asked.

November 6:  The end of football season & our church family.  Luke's last game was today.  I am so looking forward to returning to our regular habit of going to church on Sunday mornings.
